In 2012, we added some features and made some replacements where required. Our television was quite old so we replaced it with a Plasma screen, and replaced the TV cabinet with a shelf that holds the DSTV decoder and the DVD player. After some extensive upholstery work, we added throws on the leather couches as recommended by the upholsterers. We also added some oil paintings to the main bedroom, lounge and dining area which is now available for sale off the wall. The local artist is Joey Botha, and the paintings we chose to exhibit in House of Lords blends in well with our furnishings. The house appears more homely now.
