The next morning I got up quite early to be greeted by a very fresh, "clean" "Spring-like" Bushveld. The lodge was buzzing with us cleaning up, preparing the spread for breakfast and by 8:00 am all was ready for the guests to arrive. Musi, right hand on the farm, organized a target for me and seeing that nothing was left to be done before the guests arrived I thought it a good time to shoot a couple of arrows.
I was shooting quite well from 10 m, so I decided to increase the distance to 15 m and walked the distance. Not sure if this was just one of those good shooting days or not, but things went well. I remember noting that I was more relaxed shooting than ever (could be the mere thought of not being in the city) and there seemed to be no or very little "flyers".
I aimed, shot one arrow, took another aimed at the same spot shooting another. At first I could not see where arrow no. 2 went and this bugged me a bit as I could hear it hit the target. Thinking about it I remember aiming close to the first arrow, seeing it clearly through the sight and arrow no.1 hit the spot exactly where it was aimed at, so arrow no.2 must have been close to arrow no.1. "Maybe I am just not seeing it from this distance " I thought and loaded the next arrow.
Arrow three and four went off slightly to the left but also in the black target spot quite close to each other. Arrow 5 also ended up in close to arrow 3 and 4.
