What is Orphans for Wildlife?

OFW is an online promotion aimed to raise funds in order to render assistance to a non-government funded shelter based in Kempton Park (current aim), South Africa. This shelter provides food and shelter to street children that are addicted to alcohol, drugs and glue sniffing. Many of these children are orphaned due to their parents passing away from HIV.

The Caxtons Newspaper Group provided a house for the past six years that was used as a shelter to assist the street children. Economic reasons forced the group to put the house up for sale. This is placing the All stars shelter in a predicament as they will have a little as 4 weeks (end August '02) to find new premises.

Our aim at this point in time is to find new premises for All Stars (or raise funds in order for the organization to obtain new premises) to implement the long term goal. The All Star Children's shelter is registered with "The Child and Welfare Society, Kempton Park" (Fund Raising Number: 03 300037 0006)
